When I was under 12, I used to watch the original series of Star Trek.

I loved James T. Kirk charming character performed by William Shatner. His leadership style was quite remarkable and I identify very well with him.

True nowadays it feels like humans are from another planet sometimes, I would need to have a Spock on my team to figure out what language they are speaking.

I actually was looking for a virtual Spock and I just found out an AI tolls that does just that!

And it works both ways, so ask yourself how do you feel when you initiate a conversation with the intent to help somebody but that person tries to show you how stupid you are to believe what you are telling them? The emotional price is the highest price you pay in any negotiation, so make the decision to note that person’s reaction and decide how is the best use of your energy. The off switch is often the best route.
